On dit qu'elle tire ses origines des croyances des premiers habitants de ces terres, que sont les Elfes, et qu'elle s'est ensuite transmise aux peuples qui sont venus s'installer après.
Ce qui est pour le moins intéressant, si vous voulez mon humble avis, c'est que cette religion n'a pas seulement été adoptée par les Humes, alliés des Elfes, mais aussi par leurs ennemis, à savoir les Galdjents et les Drahns ! C'est tout bonnement épatant, vous ne trouvez pas ?
Avant le déluge de Lumière, cette église de l'Aurore était très influente, au point que ses “patriarches” jouissaient, paraît-il, d'un pouvoir sur les foules bien plus grand que celui des rois et autres souverains !
Toutefois, tout ceci a changé avec le déluge de Lumière. L'élément même envers lequel les gens tournaient leurs espoirs et leurs prières est devenu une source implacable de destruction.
De nos jours, il ne reste quasiment plus aucun croyant et ces anciens préceptes disparaissent petit à petit dans l'oubli...

It began with the original inhabitants, the elves, and eventually took root among the other races.
This included not only their allies, the Humes, but the Galdjent and Drahn, with whom they shared a tumultuous relationship.
The Church of the First Light's influence grew to such an extent that it surpassed even that of the monarchs and rulers of the various nations.
That was until the Flood of Light changed everything. The Light that they so revered was not their salvation, but their destruction.
As you may well imagine, those who survived quickly abandoned the religion, and its teachings were all but forgotten. I have made it my life's work to see that these people and their ways are not similarly lost to the sands of time.
Though I understand the perils involved with the exploration of ancient ruins, I feel we must do our utmost to retain what knowledge we can of the world that existed before the Flood.

Sehr gerne. Also, die Kirche des Strahlenden Lichts war früher in ganz Norvrandt verbreitet. In ihr wurde die Göttin des Lichts verehrt.
Der Ursprung des Glaubens lässt sich bis zu den Ureinwohnern von Norvrandt, den Elfen, zurückverfolgen. Die anderen Völker scheinen den Glauben später übernommen zu haben.
Und zwar nicht nur von den Hume, die mit den Elfen verbündet waren, sondern auch von den verfeindeten Galdjent und Drahn. Trotz ihrer großen Differenzen verehrten sie alle die Götter des Lichts.
Der Einfluss der Kirche wurde schließlich so stark, dass kein weltlicher Herrscher es wagte, sich ihren Anweisungen zu widersetzen.
Das änderte sich schlagartig mit der Lichtflut, als klar wurde, dass die Göttin des Lichts niemanden retten könnte. Nein, sie wurde sogar für den Untergang der Welt verantwortlich gemacht.
Heutzutage glaubt kaum noch jemand an die alte Göttin und ihre Gotteshäuser verfallen.

その起源は、ノルヴラントの先住民、エルフ族の信仰にあるとされ、 後に流入してきた他民族へも広がっていったものと考えられます。
おもしろいのは、エルフ族の同盟者であるヒュム族だけでなく、 敵対していたガルジェント族やドラン族も、 この「光耀教」を信仰していたことですな。
「光の氾濫」以前、広く信仰された「光耀教」は強い力を持ち、 その総主教は、各国の王をしのぐほどの発言力を、 持っていたといわれております。
しかし、「光の氾濫」後、すべては変わりました。 信じるべき「光の神」は人々を助けることなく、 むしろ「光」こそが世界を破壊していったのですから。
いまでは信じる者などほとんどなく、 その教えもただ風化していくばかり……。
