Pour remédier au problème, j'aimerais confectionner des lanternes. Moi qui étais autrefois mécanicien dans l'armée impériale, je peux tout faire avec un peu de combustible... et du verre.
D'ailleurs, je voulais aller en chercher, mais avec ces armes magitek qui rôdent dans les rues... Bref, j'ai besoin de votre aide !

Tout d'abord, voyons voir cette bouteille d'alcool. Dommage qu'elle soit vide, tiens... En tout cas, elle a pile la bonne taille !
Ensuite, la bouteille de parfum. Elle est un peu plus petite, on pourrait d'ailleurs parler de flacon... En revanche, elle sent bon, ce qui devrait avoir un effet apaisant.
Le feu est très important pour les Garlemaldais, vous savez. Lorsqu'ils se sont installés sur ces plaines gelées, nos ancêtres étaient incapables d'utiliser la magie. Ils ne pouvaient donc même pas s'éclairer correctement.
On raconte qu'ils utilisaient la graisse d'animaux sauvages comme combustible pour leurs lanternes. Par la suite, ils ont découvert comment raffiner le céruleum extrait du Cerulea Ingens, ce qui a radicalement changé leur mode de vie.
En hommage à mes ancêtres qui ont su faire poindre une lueur d'espoir dans les ténèbres, je confectionnerai des lanternes de fortune pour éclairer ce lieu ! Et si cela m'est possible, c'est aussi grâce à vous ! Merci de m'avoir rapporté ces bouteilles !

There's something about the darkness that just deflates the spirits, wouldn't you say? We have plenty of lights, yes, but they use the same fuel as the heaters. And “not freezing to death” places somewhat higher on the agenda than “making the place look nice.”
As such, I've taken it upon myself to craft lanterns that use other sorts of fuel! I was, once upon a time, a technician in the imperial army, so provided I have the glassware, I'm more than capable of the task.
That's where the trouble lies, though. Such items are in short supply, and while I know where in the city we might scrounge up some, I wouldn't dare march into that sea of magitek weaponry. Perhaps you could go in my stead?
Just northwest of the station you'll find a tavern and a perfumery─or what's left of them, anyway. Somewhere among the ruins you should be able to find wares suitable for our lanterns.
Unfortunately, the whole place is crawling with mechanical monstrosities, but you look like you can handle yourself. There should be a few good pieces of glassware remaining somewhere among all that rubble, surely.

What they lacked in magic, though, they made up for in guile. They took what fat and oils they could from the animals of these wilds and chased away their shadows. Until, of course, they at last learned to extract ceruleum from Cerulea Ingens.
But like those first settlers before me, I will carve out a bright spot of hope in this darkness with these lanterns. Thank you for all that you've done, truly.

Puh, hier in diesem Halbdunkel kommt man noch auf ganz finstere Gedanken, meinst du nicht auch? Ich verstehe ja, dass hier Brennmaterial zuerst fürs Heizen verwendet wird und die Beleuchtung hintenansteht, aber die Stimmung aufhellen tut das nicht gerade.
Darum will ich eine Laterne bauen und die Umgebung hier ein wenig ausleuchten. Für mich als ehemaligen Maschinisten wäre das ein Klacks, wenn ich nur das nötige Ausgangsmaterial dafür hätte.
Ich wüsste sogar, wo ich die Sachen dafür bekäme. Aber dafür muss man an den Magitek-Waffen vorbei, von denen es in dieser Gegend nur so wimmelt. Hier kommst du Lichtgestalt ins Spiel!

Oho, eine Schnapsflasche! Leider schon leer ... Aber die Größe passt, die lässt sich gut zu einer Laterne umfunktionieren.
Und hier ...? Na, dem Geruch nach war das Flakon wertvoller als dessen Inhalt, will mir scheinen. Das soll uns aber gar nicht weiter stören, auch darin wird ein hübsches Flämmchen flackern.
Für uns Garlear ist das Feuer sehr wichtig. Als unsere Vorfahren damals vor langer Zeit hier in dieses Schneefeld kamen, konnten sie keine Magie wirken, um es hell werden zu lassen.
Bevor man herausgefunden hatte, dass man dafür den Erdseim aus Cerulea Ingens verwenden kann, hatte man tierische und pflanzliche Öle in Laternen angezündet, um Licht zu erzeugen.
Aus den Glasflaschen, die du mir gebracht hast, werde ich Laternen anfertigen und in kalten dunklen Nächten ganz nach dem Vorbild unserer Vorfahren ein heimeliges Licht der Hoffnung entzünden. Nochmals vielen Dank für deine Hilfe!

まずは……酒瓶ですね。 中身が残っていないのが、少し残念ですが…… うん、大きさ的にもランタンに転用できそうだ。
次は、香水瓶……少し小さいですが、 いい香りがして、火を灯せば心が安らぎそうです。
ガレアン族にとって、火は大切なんです。 はるか昔、この雪原にたどり着いた祖先たちは、 魔法を扱えず、満足に明かりすら灯せなかったといいます。
大セルレア湖から青燐水を精製する方法が編み出されるまで、 野生生物から採った油で、ランタンに火を灯していたとか。
私も頂いた瓶でランタンを作り、明かりを灯してみます。 祖先が寒く暗い夜に安らぎを見出した、希望の灯火を……。 ご協力、ありがとうございました！
