Plus loin vers l'est, près de la région des Lacs, se trouve une autre forteresse ennemie pourvue d'un gigantesque canon, Castrum Abania. Je crains que nous fassions d'excellentes cibles si nous restons ici trop longtemps.
Autrement dit, il est dans notre intérêt de lancer l'assaut contre Specula Imperatoris afin d'utiliser les troupes impériales comme boucliers contre d'éventuels tirs.

Which means that we will need to strike Specula Imperatoris quickly, both to limit their ability to locate our forces in the field, and to utilize the installation as a shield against attack, as they would doubtless not risk damaging the towers.

Wir haben nicht mit einem so einfachen Sieg gerechnet, aber Ala Ghiri ist in unserer Hand und wird uns für den weiteren Feldzug als Stützpunkt dienen. Unser nächstes Ziel ist die garleische Festung Specula Imperatoris im Zentrum der Zinnen.
Findet ihr es nicht seltsam, dass die Garlear sich so passiv verhalten? Zenos ist nicht bekannt dafür, Konfrontationen zu vermeiden. Er stellt sich sogar meist selbst direkt an die Front.
Seltsam oder nicht, deswegen können wir unseren Feldzug nicht abbrechen. Der nächste Schritt muss die Eroberung des Specula sein, sonst kommen wir nicht weiter.
Östlich der Wachtürme, zwischen den Zinnen und dem Abanischen Fenn, liegt Castrum Abania, eine schwer befestigte Anlage mit einer riesigen Kanone. Wenn wir nicht handeln, riskieren wir, dass die Garlear damit auf uns feuern. Die Reichweite ist enorm.
Wir müssen den Specula stürmen, um nicht mehr hier auf dem Präsentierteller zu sitzen. Er wird uns Schutz gegen die Kanone gewähren.
Uns bleibt also nur der Weg nach vorne.
Wir müssen auf eine Falle gefasst sein, so viel ist klar. Das wissen wir, und die Garlear wissen umgekehrt, dass wir damit rechnen. Aber was sie genau planen, werden wir auch mit Grübeln und Studieren nicht herausbekommen.
Die Haupttruppen stürmen also Specula Imperatoris, während der Bund der Morgenröte verhindert, dass versprengte garleische Truppen sich Ala Ghiri zurückholen. Haltet die Augen offen und macht alle Garlear unschädlich, die ihr seht.

スペキュラのさらに東、湖畔地帯との境にある帝国軍基地、 カストルム・アバニアには、大口径のカノン砲があってな。 徒に時を浪費すれば、長距離砲撃の餌食になりかねない。
つまり、我々は、素早くスペキュラに肉薄し、 敵の監視塔を、砲撃への盾とする必要があるということだ。
なるほど……。 どの道、選択肢はないということですね。
そういうことじゃな……。 敵とて無能ではなかろうから、防衛戦では何らかの罠を、 仕掛けてくることは間違いないが、突き進むより他あるまいて。
では、このまま本隊は、スペキュラ攻略を開始する。 「暁」は、本隊が取りこぼした敵兵が、アラギリに入らぬよう、 周辺を哨戒しつつ、発見次第、これを各個撃破してくれ。
